Point of view and angle are the two things that make this photograph captivating in the almost panoramic framing and layout. From the awesome shallow depth of field, the lighting and glittering bokeh accentuate the enchantment of the spider's web, *Betuwefotograaf's Jewels of Nature. ( Featured by ^3wyl )

Let's start with vision. What is seen in the photo may be clear to some, but not to others. I think a slightly larger field of focus would be ideal, but too much would compromise the effects, so you are safe. Now on the other hand, your vision (being able to find and see what you saw in this) is absolutely splendid. My first thought before reading the caption was lights (such as used for ceremonial or romantic purposes). Either are delicate and beautiful. Originality: I can't say I see this picture everyday. So thanks for thinking outside of the box. Technique: I am not sure which method you have actually used for this photo, but as mentioned before a little more focus would help catch the beauty in each shiny little droplet of water. I do like how you have caught the light on them however. It brings a very warm feeling when looking at this piece. While there are many webs in many places finding one at the right time in the right place can sometimes be tricky. Most likely you found this early morning seeing it is covered in dew. Your dedication to taking a great photo before many people are even awake is very appreciative. You have me wanting to attempt this myself. Thanks for the wonderful photo!
